Catharsis is an NFT-driven jewelry & accessory brand. Our mission is to fuse the physical and digital worlds of fashion and art.

We began Catharsis as a physical brand, trying to compete with other accessory and lifestyle designers. After Covid-19 struck we were forced to rethink our strategy, as most of our revenue came from popups and live venue events—Ontario had months on end of full lockdowns, so we had to pivot!

There was obviously a trend in people spending more and more time online, and with the popularity of the NFT space exploding after a couple highly publicized and historic NFT sales, we saw an opportunity to do something with our brand that could evolve the way brands in general would operate in the future!
Creating a design brand integrating a community of like-minded people is something that was extremely difficult to do before the NFT space came along. With Catharsis, owners of our Tokens will not only have a say in the direction, aesthetic, and pieces we release, but they will also directly benefit from their input—financial or otherwise.

Our brand will allow creatives and artists to meet and collaborate with others they wouldn't have been connected to previously, through common ownership of a project they have a say in! We also want to offer resources, funding and support to new and young artists trying to break through the noise of a busy art world, and our long-term vision is to set up communal art studio spaces around the world that members will have free access to. And that's just the beginning!
