What do you really think about your friends!
With Fairmind, you can anonymously describe and evaluate your friends and check how they describe and evaluate you.
What do your friends think about you? What are their opinions on your personality, your clothing and your hairstyle? Do they think you’re funny, brainy or trusty? With a new web app called Fairmind, people can describe how they really feel about you. You can also use Fairmind to post ‘personal reviews’ about your friends. This all is anonymously for the users
Review
When you change your profile picture on a social media platform, there’s a good chance that your online friends will tell you what they think about your new picture. Fairmind takes this a step further by allowing friends, who used Fairmind, to add anonymous descriptions. Examples of such descriptions include, ‘He really helped me out when I needed him and I’m trying to figure out a way to return the favour.’ or ‘She knows lots of corny jokes. Next time you see her, ask her to tell you one.’
Along with personal descriptions, ‘reviewers’ can use the app to rate their friends on personality (friendly, brainy, funny and trusty) and looks (clothing, hairstyle, body and charisma).
Likes
With Fairmind, friends can ‘like’ descriptions by using the trademark thumbs-up. Or they can use the thumbs-down to show that they disagree. This gives you an idea of what others think about you and also allows you to add your opinion about your friends. Also users has the possibility to follow people.
Only with Fairmind
Fairmind only saves the description text and links it to the friend in question. Friends who post descriptions and ratings stay anonymous. Fairmind does not divulge any personal information to other parties.
Keep it fun!
Fairmind is for people who dare to be ‘rated’ by their friends and who are curious about what the rest of the world thinks about them. ‘Don’t judge, just describe’ is the advice from the Fairmind Team, suggesting that you don’t criticise and accuse, but keep it fun instead! Descriptions are only possible if the person being described has made a account. In case of abuse, profiles may be deleted.
