Our first use-case is medical training which is affecting 232 million patients worldwide, overwhelming doctors who don't have time to keep flying down to workshops, and slowing down the adoption of life-giving medical devices that are dependent on remote training.

Medical device companies have to keep flying doctors to workshops or other hospitals for case observations - this is infrequent and very expensive. 2-dimensional eLearning is not realistic enough for proper training and that's why most physicians and staff just scrub through these videos which is risky! They end up training on the go with live patients! VR provides the balance of on-site, easily accessible 'life-like' training.

PicketFencer is a web application that helps homebuyers find a hometown that fits, based on insights from the people that live there.

Our website, PicketFencer.com, is the only comprehensive guide to the NYC suburbs, containing profiles for over 600 towns throughout New Jersey, Westchester, Connecticut, and Long Island. Our powerful search tool allows users to filter by region, commute time, school rating, walkability, and affordability. We then combine that data with social content from Instagram, YouTube, Yelp, and Twitter to go beyond the numbers and provide a qualitative picture of each town’s personality. We also offer a blog, discussion area, and even a concierge town-recommendation service for those that need more help finding the perfect hometown.

The PicketFencer team is made up of veterans from the start-up and digital agency worlds and is led by founder David Leibowitz. David was inspired to create PicketFencer when he moved with his wife and young daughter from New York City to suburban New Jersey. He found that there were few resources available online to help families pick the right hometown, and decided to create a better way.
