The Simplest, and Most Powerful Way to Experience Music

Fignotes is built from the ground up to be simple yet extremely powerful. Artists upload one master song file in any format (mp3, Ogg, WAV, etc), and at least one derivative version of that master version of the same song length. These derivatives can include anything the artist desires, from slightly different vocals, pitch and guitar riffs to drum beats, lyrics, and more.

Dynamic Measure and Solo Insertion

Everytime you hit play you will experience an entirely new song. An average 3 minute song can have thousands of variations, and you'll never hear the same variation twice. Fignotes splits every song down by individual 4 beat measure, and will dynamically swap out measures of the master and derivatives as a song is being streamed. The artist can also specify points in the song to insert custom solos of varying lengths. Fignotes makes it easy to share these unique experiences with your friends.

How Fignotes Works

Artists Upload Music

Simply upload music (at least one master and one derivative) in any format, and let Fignotes take care of the rest. Fignotes will handle all of the conversion, splitting, and compression. You can add as many derivatives as you want, the only requirement is that the derivatives must be the same length and BPM as the master recording. Select whether you want your music to be available via search or station only.

Music Fans Hit Play

Fignotes is the best free alternative to the mainstream streaming music services. Music fans simply have to hit play and they're instantly able to stream a song with a blend of the master and derivative elements. This is the power of Dynamic Music Streaming, in which no two streaming experiences are the same. Fans will have the ability to search for songs/artists they like, or listen to stations to find new favorites. Our service is free for everyone and available via Web App, with an iPhone and Android app to be released shortly.

Fans have the ability to engage with songs by hitting a clap/applaud button during parts that they enjoy, create playlists, share songs, as well as the ability to skip songs as much as they want. Arists will be able to see this engagement via their dashboard and use this data to make their music even better. All artists on the service receive royalty payments directly from Fignotes.
