It seeks to be the leading authority for hiking, trekking, and climbing mountains in the region, and to get new people into the sport. It was started late last year by two friends from Singapore who were climbing a mountain and felt websites about climbing mountains weren't really for Southeast Asia, and that they could build one that was better.
