Penroads is a social travel platform that connects both travelers and locals by destination and travel dates. It is the first platform that gives people direct user-to-user chat in real-time, allowing them to meet with international travelers to share tips and plan activities.
Social travel is a dichotomy. Travelers not only want to meet each other, they seek a knowledge base for planning their trips. Penroads allows users to engage each other as a social network, and participate and share in discussions. I'd liken it to 'Quora' for travel.

Throw addresses this by creating a space free from this social agenda. Thus focusing strictly on the content exchanged and providing a safe, comfortable and unbiased space where people can ask and answer anything freely with no bias, fears, or strings attached.
