Podia

The premise of Podia is to match with someone that has an opposing political opinion, try to understand the other side's point of view while also making your voice heard.

Podia was founded during the 2016 U.S. presidential election cycle by three guys in their 20s who live in Washington, DC. Each of us voted for a different presidential candidate and we love talking about politics and debating each other regularly. In a year defined by new levels of vitriol and partisanship, we were inspired to try to find a solution to the hate and misunderstanding we saw all around us. We believe America is at it’s best when it is unified, not divided and we see fun, friendly debate as the path to bringing us all together again.
