Mogees History
In 2013, Mogees founder Bruno Zamborlin came up with the idea for a device which could turn any object into a musical instrument. After years of extensive research and development at the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique (IRCAM), part of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Mogees Pro - the company’s first product - was launched in 2015.
Like Mogees Play, Mogees Pro interprets interactions with everyday objects to create instant musical sounds. The Kickstarter community got behind the Mogees Pro product, with campaigns in 2014 and 2015 raising a combined total of £198,944, and it is now used by professional musicians, producers and DJs around the world to bring performances on stage and in the studio to life.
